Hi, my name is Tim Strom. I opened Red Rock Pottery in the woods of Potomac Montana in order to explore my world through clay. I work in both functional and sculptural handmade ceramics. This private studio allows me to focus on a wide variety of design and textures, usually drawn from nature. I use stoneware and porcelain clays and fire them to a mid-range cone six. I also use commercial glazes that are food safe.
